Hellenic Red Cross implements many programs of psychosocial support for migrants. From 1965, provides services to vulnerable social groups. Its social welfare volunteers are 2000 for Athens and 1500 for the rest of Greece. Moreover professional social care workers assist the work of the Hellenic Red Cross. The financing of the projects comes fron national sources or the European Commission.
