According to its aims the main function of the MRCT is the medical, psychological, social and legal care to the torture victims. More specifically, the care that the MRCT provides includes:
- Assessment and documentation of torture. - Diagnosis and treatment of physical sequelae of torture. - Social work with need assessment, support, and counselling - Psychological and psychiatric assessment - Psychotherapy - Body treatment (Physiotherapy) - Legal support and counselling.
