Informal migrants can only be serviced by the National Health System in case of emergency. However, health personel often bypasses rules to treat informal migrants outside of the emergency framework. Informal migrants are also often treated at Municipality Clinics.
Informal migrants are also services in large numbers in the polyclinics of two NGOs: Medecins du Monde and Praksis (in Athens and Thesalloniki).
