The largest group of South American migrants in the UK are from Brazil. There are approximately 200.000 Brazilian migrants in the UK, which is about 0.32% of the total UK population according to the Latin America to 2020 Public Strategy paper[Latin America to 2020 Paper]. This number only includes those who were not born in the UK and not 2nd, 3rd and subsequent generation immigrants.
Columbia
The second largest group of South American migrants in the UK are from Columbia. There are approximately 140.000 Columbian migrants in the UK, which is about 0.25% of the total UK population.
Ecuador
The third largest group of South American migrants are from Ecuador. There are approximately 70000-90000 Ecuadorian migrants in the UK, which is about 0.14% of the total UK population.
Peru
